Very aesthetic specimen of Azurite crystals on a Malachite covered matrix from Sepon Laos. The Azurite is sharp, deep blue and highly lustrous with numerous crystals scattered all over the piece. The highlight is the 25mm twinned crystal perched at the top which has some pseudomorphing present! Great contrasting combination! You don’t see a lot of these on the marketplace and many were misrepresented Chinese specimens. This specimen originated from a miner who worked at the mine so I know the provenance is good!
