For me this a holy grail combination if you are a copper based collector.
Very aesthetic specimen of Azurite on Cuprite with Malachite from Sepon Laos. The Azurite crystals are small but very sharp, deep blue and highly lustrous with many perched on the Cuprite!!! The Cuprite crystals are formed in very sharp clusters which have deep blood red colour when lit and excellent lustre. To top it all off there is fibrous Malachite scattered throughout, giving great contrast to the piece. You don’t see a lot of these on the marketplace and many were misrepresented Chinese specimens. This specimen originated from a miner who worked at the mine so I know the provenance is good!
