A sharp, matrix terminated, hexagonal crystal of translucent – transparent red Beryl on a Rhyolite matrix. The color is an excellent pink/red, with a few gemmy areas. Red Beryls AKA red Emeralds, are still only found at this one locality and can be quite expensive. This specimen is one of a small parcel from an old collection and represents good value for the species.
Measures 27 x 27 x 22mm with the Beryl approx. 17mm long.
