These are not easy to come by!
Green (Cuprian) Smithsonite from Broken Hill, NSW. This specimen is a small vug completely lined with tiny lustrous Smithsonite crystals which coat a very fine layer of Coronadite which give them the darker appearance. There are several complete, albeit small, clear to white Cerussite crystals perched on the bottom left side of the piece too! The matrix is heavily embedded with small Garnets and Cerussite and there is also some minor Malachite.
Measures 50 x 35 x 30mm.
