A sharp Gold crystal cluster from a recent small find in Georgetown Queensland. This specimen is comprised of numerous twinned octahedrons and dodecahedrons with deep skeletal growth. This piece is very reminiscent of specimens from the Zapata claims in Venezuela. The arrangement on this piece is superb and the colour and lustre is excellent.
All of these specimens appear to be Supergene Gold and were collected from an area no more than 50cm in diameter and just over a metre deep.
Measures 10 x 6 x 5mm and weighs 0.87 grams.
