Witherite with Harmotome
A very recent find of world class Witherites has been made at the Rosebery Mine in Tasmania. A rosette formation of Long stacks of hexagonal translucent to transparent witherite crystals, in parallel growth. The color is a deep yellowish green ad the lustre is very good. There is also a small amount of very fine Harmatome and a number of scattered Pyrite crystals throughout. There are also some small but very distinct Galena crystals (stepped, cubic) on the witherite!
Measures 60 x 50 x 20mm.
