Reserved. S.S. Witherite with Harmotome
A very recent find of world class Witherites has been made at the Rosebery Mine in Tasmania. This specimen is adorned with small blocky hexagonal Witherite crystals that are translucent to transparent and in parallel growth. There is also a Witherite stack at one end which just adds to the appeal! The color is a deep yellowish green ad the lustre is very good. There is also a good covering of very fine Harmatome and a number of scattered Pyrite crystals throughout.
Measures 38 x 30 x 15mm.
