A very aesthetic and well balanced specimen of Smithsonite from the Berg Aukus mine, Namibia. The crystals are light amber to colourless, translucent inter-grown rhombs with a pearly lustre. There are also hints of a pale lilac colour to some areas. This mine closed in 1978.

Measures 90 x 65 x 35mm.
