Crocoite from the Platt Prospect is generally known for its small dogs tooth or tabular crystal habit. This specimen is from a small find a couple of years ago and has larger more blocky crystals, similar to the Adelaide mine material. The crystals on this piece are a mixture of both hollow & solid terminating and have great colour & lustre. The arrangement is very good and can be displayed from many angles.
