Gold in Quartz

Gold in Quartz from Beta Hunt mine in Kambalda Western Australia. The Gold in this piece is a mix of ribbons / thin leaves and lumps of massive Gold shot through the matrix. There are also some minor very fine sulphides in the matrix as well as what looks like Chlorite alteration. This specimen is a very rich piece! From the first significant Gold find at the mine back in September 2018. Only a small amount of this first find, found its way on to the marketplace.

measures 31 x 26 x 23mm and weighs 22.69 grams gross.
