Fluorite with Sphalerite and Bitumen

A well balanced specimen of Yellow Fluorite on Sphalerite from Illinois. The main Fluorite cube has some minor chatter along 2 edges but has good colour saturation and sharply stepped faces. There is a coating of natural Bitumen to much of the piece which for me accents well. The underside of the specimen has some small Fluorite cubes with amazing lustre.

Ex Frank Griffiths Collection.

measures 90 x 80 x 50mm.
