From a new find at the Dundas Extended Mine in Tasmania!
Bright red, gemmy terminating crocoite crystals on a brecciated Quartzite matrix. This specimen has razor sharp terminations and beautiful growth phantoms. Crocoite specimens from this location are generally matrix terminating or have stubby tabular crystals. This small find has free standing crystals that look like Adelaide mine material with the colour of the Red lead mine!
