Pastel green, pearly clusters of Cuprian Dolomite perched on razor sharp Cuprite crystals from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The Dolomite crystals are well defined with clean faces and accent well against the blood red Cuprites. These Cuprite crystals which have grown on a massive Cuprite matrix are also very sharp and well defined. There are a few very small orange coloured crystals dotted across this piece, that resemble tiny Wulfenite crystals???
I have dialed down the colour saturation from the original raw photos to show a more representative appearance as Cuprite quite often explodes with colour using flash photography, but it still shows a slightly deeper red than the actual piece.
This is a very good example of a very hard to get association from Tsumeb.
