A cabinet specimen of Crocoite from the Adelaide Mine. Tasmania, Australia. This is an old specimen, dating back to the Frank Mihajlowits days of mining. The Crocoite crystals are quite robust with a deep orange / red colour and good lustre. There is a small amount of clay covering some of the matrix.
